Valentine's Day Date Nights at Home
Posted on February 04 2022
If you've already chosen a present for your Valentine and are now thinking of how to create a magical evening for them, we've some lovely ideas for date nights at home to ensure you spend some quality time together and making the most of those small moments. After all, there is no better gift than time spent together!
Movie Nights
Choose a film you love, a film you've not seen before or start a brand new series to binge watch all evening. Snuggle up under a blanket, grab a bowl of your favourite snacks and it'll be even better than the cinema. If you're in a long-distance relationship and can't be together for Valentine's, you could even stream the film at the same time while on the phone to each other.
Cooking a romantic meal
If you don't fancy heading out, spend quality time together cooking up a delicious meal from scratch in your matching aprons. Then get dressed up, pour yourselves a drink, light a candle and enjoy a dinner together (with no phones allowed!) and leave the washing up for the morning.
Wine and cheese tasting
Shop our serving board collection and personalise a cheese board with your names (and a cheesy pun), some fancy wine and all the cheese you could possibly eat. Do we need to say any more? It's the perfect night in!
Crafts night
Our beautiful engraved scrapbooks come in a variety of different designs and can be personalised with your names and your own message, making it a unique gift for your loved one. Spend the evening with your partner taking a trip down memory lane and writing about special trips and sticking in photos and mementos from your time together, revisiting all your happy memories.
Breakfast in Bed
Spoil your loved one with their favourite breakfast and serve it to them in bed on Valentine's Day morning (personally we suggest something that's as sweet as them. such as pancakes or waffles)
If you need a little help on gifts, have a read of our Valentine's Day Gift Guide here where you can see some of our top picks for any budget.
And if you know someone that may be feeling down on Valentine's Day, it'll be a lovely idea to surprise them with a small token gift or care package to remind them how loved they are. A new book and a personalised bookmark, a new mug with their favourite hot chocolate or herbal teas, or even just a card with a note to say you love them.
